Located within the sheltered courtyard, Horseshoe Cottage offers spacious and comfortable open plan living and dining, with a well equipped fitted kitchen. There are two bedrooms [one king-size double, one small twin] and a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and a separate loo.

There is ample parking available which is located adjacent to the property, please could we ask that you park your vehicle with consideration to our other guests.

Shared Laundry & Utility Area

Fresh bed linen and towels will be provided for you upon arrival, for the duration of your stay. Should you require additional items please contact us to request these. 

There is a shared utility washing and drying room located by the communal barbeque area which you are free to use at any point during your stay. The utility room is left unlocked for 24 hour access. You will find a small freezer, hoover, ironing board and barbeque utensils available in here, please take into consideration these are shared amenities for all guests and if removed must be returned at your earliest convenience. 

Four Legged Friends

We are a dog friendly location and whilst we welcome your four legged friends without additional charge, please be aware that we do expect the additional cleaning that they create to be managed by their owners to avoid the need for a future surcharge. There is a shared hoover provided in the utility room (please return after use) and pets are not permitted on the furniture and beds. Please also respect the grounds and clean up after your dog(s) for the continued enjoyment of the facilities for all guests.

Access Statement

One of five self-catering cottages set in a rural area 0.8 miles from the centre of Little Glemham village. The cottages have been converted from the redundant horse stabling quadrangle. With ample parking, they are accessed through an undercover corridor into a communal courtyard. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you to this tranquil and picturesque part of Suffolk.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
The cottages are accessed by a driveway which splits in two. Take the right hand lane, past the well and continue round the bend to the car parking area.

Main Entrance and Reception
The main entrance is the front door of Horseshoe Cottage. The key for this door is kept in a combination key safe. The code will be provided to guests before arrival. The front door is 83cm wide x 194cm high stable door with the hinge on the right (the height of the bottom door is 99cm). The keyhole is 114cm high. The step from the patio is 12cm high onto a 88cm deep piece of brickwork. The second step is 16cm high onto a 90cm x 95cm terracotta tiled area which is insie the front door. There is a doormat on this area and a 5cm high step into the open plan living area.The front door opens into the lounge area with the kitchen and dining area to the left, the bedrooms and bathroom are accessed through a further door in this area. The light switch for the open plan living space is to the left hand side of the front door. There is wooden effect flooring throughout the open plan area.
