Don’t miss

Snape Maltings is not just renown for its classical music and the performance arts. We highly recommend the following festivals that it hosts annually.

The Aldeburgh Festival in June offers much more than you’d expect from a classical music festival. You can enjoy new and old music all within the reeds, marsh lands and on the beaches of Suffolk.

Musicians from around the world converge on Snape for a series of outstanding concerts in one of the world’s great concert halls every August. You can enjoy big bands and orchestras, folk groups and solo artists. Be sure to take a look at the Snape Maltings calendar and book early to avoid disappointment.

Festival of the new explores some of the most exciting work being made in the UK with two days of freshly devised music and sound. All projects have been developed at Snape on residencies that take place all year round, and sounds range from Hip Hop to contemporary folk and from electronica to experimental jazz.

A fantastic festival for foodies. The Aldeburgh Food and Drink festival has made Snape Maltings its home, bringing together food producers, chefs and specialists from around East Anglia and the UK. With tasters, cooking demonstrations, talks from food experts, this family-friendly festival has a great atmosphere.
